Checkout shows a generic error

Stripe decline, CORS, ad-blockers, and incomplete Connect.

  1. Open browser devtools → Network and retry; read the failing /api/ response body.
  2. Confirm Settings → Payments shows charges enabled.
  3. Disable ad-blockers and privacy extensions on checkout.
  4. Try another card or wallet (Apple Pay / Google Pay) if Stripe reports a decline.
