Sell MIDI Packs on Your Own Store.
Sell MIDI packs of chords, drums, and melodies that open in a normal DAW. Label the key and the tempo. Buyers pay once and download the ZIP from your store.
Files any DAW can open
Standard MIDI, not a locked piano-roll screenshot. Say if a clip is drums, chords, or a lead.
Key and tempo up front
A MIDI pack without a key is a guessing game. Put scale and BPM in the filename and the description.
Same checkout as your sounds
Pair a chord pack with the preset bank or drum kit that inspired it.
What to include besides the .mid file
Group clips by job: drum patterns, chord stabs, bass lines, toplines. Write the key, the scale, and the BPM. If a chord clip assumes a range that only works on a keyboard patch, say which octave you played. A one-page note that says how you humanized velocities is more useful than a cinematic trailer that hides the MIDI.
Demo audio is still required
A MIDI file is silent on the product page, so add an audio demo. Bounce it with a plain piano or a simple drum sound, and name that sound on the page. If the pack is melodic, play the progression once slowly, then at the real tempo.
What to put in the MIDI license
Say the buyer can use the chords, drum patterns, and melodies in their own tracks. Say they cannot resell or give away the MIDI files. If you also sell the finished beat made from these chords, list that beat on its own page, with its own price and its own license.

FAQ
Will the MIDI open in any DAW?
Sell MIDI packs as standard .mid files and say so on the page. Avoid project files that only open in one DAW unless that limitation is the headline.
Do I need to label key and BPM?
Sell MIDI packs with key, scale, and BPM on every melodic clip. Drum patterns still need a tempo even when they have no key.
How do I demo a MIDI pack?
Sell MIDI packs with a bounced audio demo. Name the simple sound you used so buyers know they are hearing the notes, not a finished record.
Can I bundle MIDI with a drum kit?
Sell MIDI packs as their own product, then offer a bundle with your drum kit or preset bank. Each piece needs a license the buyer can understand.
Is MIDI the same as a sample pack?
Sell MIDI packs when the buyer is getting notes. Sample packs are audio. Link them when they belong together, and do not describe a WAV loop as MIDI.
What should the license allow?
Sell MIDI packs with permission to use the patterns in original tracks, and with a ban on reselling the MIDI itself.
