Sell One-Shots on Your Own Store.
Sell one-shots as single hits: drums, foley, and FX that are not loops. Label pitch and processing. Buyers download the ZIP from your store after they pay.
One hit, one file
Trim silence. Do not hide a two-bar loop in a file named one-shot.
Pitch notes where they matter
Tuned 808s and tonal FX should say the note. Untuned foley should say it is unpitched.
Easy to bundle later
A one-shot pack can grow into a drum kit or sit beside a loop pack without using the same product page.
Drums, foley, and FX are different catalogs
A snare one-shot and a door creak do not serve the same buyer, even if both are single files. Split them or label the folders hard. Say if the recording is close-mic and dry, or already drenched in reverb. Layering only works when the buyer can hear the hit without your room.
Filenames are the product
Use words a producer would search in their own library later: kick, snare, hat, perc, impact, texture. Add the note for tonal sounds. Add a short processing tag if the file is distorted or saturated. A demo reel of twelve hits, named on screen or in the description, beats a trailer that uses each hit once under a vocal.
License and neighbors
Allow the hits in the buyer's music. Block resale of the raw files. Link your drum kits and loop packs when the one-shots came from the same sessions, and link your sample pack hub so the catalog reads as one store instead of orphan pages.

FAQ
How is a one-shot different from a loop?
Sell one-shots as single hits with no tempo grid. Loops repeat. If a file is a loop, do not list it in the one-shot pack.
Should I tune the files to a note?
Sell one-shots with a note name when the sound is tonal, especially 808s and synth hits. Say unpitched when the sound is noise or foley.
How many one-shots make a pack?
Sell one-shots as a set you can demo in one sitting. A smaller folder of useful hits is easier to trust than hundreds of near-duplicates.
Can foley and drums share a ZIP?
Sell one-shots in separate folders or separate products when the buyers differ. A drum producer and a film editor are not always the same person.
What license fits single hits?
Sell one-shots with permission to use them in original productions and a ban on uploading the raw files for resale.
Where should this page link?
Sell one-shots next to drum kits and loops on your store, and link the sample pack page so people can see the wider catalog.
